Having a data privacy policy that you are not following -- because you don’t have the knowledge of where data is kept and used and so can’t effectively manage it – can be extremely damaging and lead to lawsuits, enforcement actions and extreme penalties. To improve your data privacy management capability, you must define the current state so that weaknesses can be identified and corrected.
To assist in the collection of this information, OCEG and ServiceNow have developed a playbook, entitled Preparing for Improvement in Data Privacy, which offers suggested questionnaires for use throughout the organization. In this webinar, we address the recommendations of the Playbook and walk you through the key steps it outlines.
